After viewing the example Infographics in the external links, I really stayed 'hooked' to the History of Mickey Mouse. I created my Infographic with the idea of telling about my oldest child. I really enjoyed creating my Infographic. I can see teachers using this tool for beginning of the year projects. I used infogr.am to create my graphic. It was easy to use. However, there were delays. I had to attempt to upload several times, before the image would appear. But in the end, I was very happy with the ease and quality of the image.
I hope you enjoy my Infographic: The Life of JV
Shea, I love this idea! What did JV think of it? This would be an easy way to students to understand the concept of timelines. They could create one about themselves.
ReplyDeleteShea, I really like your idea about using the infographic with a number. It makes it a bit more exciting than just a regular piece of paper. I am excited to see what all you will have the kiddos do in the lab and I look forward to transitioning that into the classroom and vice versa. Also, I really like your infographic on JV and agree with Ashley that even the younger kids could create one on themselves to help learn about timelines.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of making one of these for your kids! And that number 11 is awesome! He will have to use that as his number if/when he plays sports. Tell me he doesn't have a choice. With you being in the lab this year, I can see you using these in many ways. It would be a great icebreaker right here at the beginning!
ReplyDeleteAnd this year in class he has a "number".... guess what it is!!! Yep- 11!!!! And I love your icebreaker idea for the lab!
